I’m coming from a history of rotator cuff injury. I lift at home so I have spotters that I can adjust to my preference. That being said my preference is to limit the ROM by putting the spotters above my chest where the bar doesn’t are contact with my chest. Is the limiting ROM diminishing my goals of aesthetics? Having the spotters there makes my lifts safer I feel both when failing the lift and not putting too much stress on the rotator cuff.
