ParticipantHey Joe,
This might be long, but I just want to see if you have any information that could benefit me here.
I have been battling a right knee issue for quite some time. Off and on for a couple years. It started with patellar tendinitis. I have since got that under control, but now there is some inflammation behind my right patella.
I had an appointment with an orthopedic PA and he reviewed my x rays and put me on mobic for an anti-inflammatory.
I can do basically all leg exercises besides barbell squats. For some reason my right knee flares up on barbell squats. My biggest goal is to get back to being able to do heavy barbell squats.
My current leg workout from your program is:
Seated leg curls
Box squats
Lying leg curl superset with hack squat
Walking lungesThis workout has caused me no pain, but for some reason at or below parallel on squats messes with my knee. I feel like it has to be a biomechanic issue at this point.
I was wondering if you had any recommendations on supplements to reduce inflammation or any mobility type work that could benefit me?
I’m taking the mobic and being patient, working on increasing strength on the pain-free movements. Any suggestions or information from you would be awesome. Thanks so much man!

ParticipantThank you so much for the response. Will definitely get into these supplements. Also, not being married to a specific movement makes a lot of sense and I needed to hear that. Appreciate it!!
