Hi Joe I was previously squatting and found after that I would have alot of knee pain after. To the point I was limping when walking on my right leg particularly.
I stopped squatting and focussed on strengthening my hamstrings and glutes.
I have found that the knee pain went away.
I know it makes sense that if the pain has stopped from stopping squating it makes sense to stop squatting. But I do enjoy the exercise.
My question is what exercises could I do for my quads that does not excessively load the knees?
    Thanks.

    Thanks very much Joe.
I tryed to squat again yesterday and could feel the pain coming back. Its not immediate during the squat. The pain could be described as a throbbing in both knees after and a sharp pain in my right knee.
I think I will just not squat for now and try other quad variations like you said.
    Thanks again Joe.
