On upperback biased pulldowns I understand the lats aren’t activated as much due to the higher arm path. The lat is quite a big muscle compared to rhomboids traps rear delts so is it true that the lat actually does get quite a lot of activation? I hear people saying that the lat is the primary mover so it actually does get activated more than the upperback. Is this true?
