Leg day

    Hi guys,

    I’m currently doing the Terrance and Joe program. (3wks in) and the issue is not the program it self, I would really like your advice on my knee/joint recovery after heavy work after leg day.

    Since changing my training meaning trying to build up and gain more muscle hence lifting heavier weights than I used to because prior I started bodybuilding I used to do a lot of running, biking etc very long long distance, my legs are quite toned and I’m active most days, I just don’t do the running or much cardio these days except walking aiming for my daily minimum steps.

    I’m finding though my knees hurt at the joint after lifting heavy, I don’t do squats and I struggle with the hack especially with my knee’s so I stick to leg press and the leg extension etc, lunges, but I’m scared of going heavier than I’m going now because I simply don’t want to fuck my knees up even more. I’m putting it down to years and years of running, how would I be able to grow my legs properly if I’m having this trouble/niggle now?

    My nutrition is good, I’m taking my supps etc and I’m definitely getting stronger and the energy is there just struggle with leg days.

    My knee only hurts from heavy leg extension. Try and give that a rest for a week or until the Hurt goes away and try squat again.
