Hi guys this is just a follow up with regards the reply for the two questions I’ve asked which you kindly replied to and explained.
Firstly, I asked if you needed to log warm up sets, you answered no I don’t need to, but won’t this effect total volume over the week, for instance I may do 2-4 warm up sets one week for a certain exercise but the following week I may only do 2 warm up sets before I go into my working sets, won’t that effect my overall progressive overload volume? I am however progressing and hitting PR’s which is great but still getting over confused with warm up sets and how to implement them week by week as my weights are going up.
Secondly, exercise swap….when I have asked to swap exercise on my current program, for instance Dips on push day, there is no other exercise alternative on the app, so I’ve been adding conventional chest press in place of that as dips really hurt my shoulders and I don’t have that muscle mind connection with them, what is your advice on selecting exercises that the app doesn’t allow, meaning do we just leave it blank and write in the notes what exercise movement we did in replace of that and continue to log that as we go?
