    Hey coach

Is it normal to lose some reps on some exercises while on a diet. My push strength isnt great on itself and now that im cutting its kind of getting a bit weaker or at best maintaining

Hey man, I had the same problem with chest movements like 2 weeks ago in my cut and for me getting more sleep again fixed the problem (went from 7 1/2 ish hours to 8-9h a night). I had to taper my weight down a little but now I’m pretty much back to 100% You can check all your variables and look if something is off a little – that can be a good places to start. But at some point in your cut your strength can go and pretty much will go down but for most cases only if you are in a defect long enough and really prepping for a show to get at crazy low bf % (maybe sth like 3-4 ish weeks out). Hope you can fix inthronisiert problem mate!

    Thanks for the input man
On my other lifts i dont see any strength loss its just my pushing strength. Honestly my sleep is pretty good. I sleep 8 hours on average everyday, even my hydration is good i drink like 5 liters a day but my food isnt all that good tbh. As long as i try to keep the same amount of deficit per day i just cant. For example the last weekend before this one that passed i lost 1.2kg. This weekend that just passed i lost .8kg. I seem to not be consistent enough with what i eat but i train hard and try to sleep as much as i can to retain the muscle that i have
