I’ve been on a cut for some time, down from 240 to 204 this morning. I am by far the leanest I have personally ever been. At this point, my strength is starting to decline in the gym. I feel like my arms look stringy and my chest looks flat.
At what point should I be concerned with losing muscle tissue? Is this a normal part of reaching new body fat levels?
Is there something I need to do to minimize losing tissue – such as a diet break or higher calorie days etc.
To note – I am on testosterone slightly above TRT dose (I use TRT medically)
Also – I am not contest lean. I was always overweight as a kid so this level of body fat, to me, is LEAN.
