Hi Joe and Bryce, the swap on the my better half program for the rdl is the lower back extension, which seems like a strange swap as rdls would be mainly Hamstring with some lower back, but when I do the lower back extension I don’t feel my hamstrings at all. Should I be feeling my hamstrings or am I doing something wrong here or maybe I’m just being totally stupid 🙂
Thanks Joe, I struggle with keeping a neutral spine as I have rounded shoulders from desk work all day so at the moment I’m just practicing form and so using very little weight as I lose the neutral spine quiet quickly. Hence when the Smith Machine isn’t available in my gym I make the swap. I’m clearer now though , think I was just caught off guard by the name of the swap being low back extension, but you do explain in the video that to lower the pad for a hip flexion movement.
