Good morning – a few questions regarding lean body mass gain.
I’m looking to add LBM after a weight loss phase. Is there a general rule of thumb for the amount of weight or percentage of weight that should be gained during a mass gain phase? Also, how long should a mass gain phase last or take?
Finally, I’ve been dealing with a lower back issue that has limited my training for the last 3 weeks. I’m able to train, but not at the intensity level that I usually work at. Should I taper back calories until I’m able to go 100%?
