InactiveMaybe this is a good place to put this but idk. If this seams sketchy just ignore or delete this topic.
So I’ve been trying to find a good training partner for quite some time now and what a good way to find it than here since we probably “agree” on most things training. Let me know what you guys thinkDecember 8, 2019 at 10:58 am #15443BryceBahm
ParticipantMel,
Tell everyone where you are from so they can see if that even is a possibility.
If it were me, I would give a little detail about your current training and what you are focusing on coming into the new year.

Let me know what you guys thinkJust look for someone committed to their training. And someone that likes to train hard. Don’t get caught up in the notion of training to find someone that trains “smart”. The work ethics and adherence are key, everything else you can “Coach up” in the person, if you can actually show them when you train together “smart” actually makes things harder

I wasn’t sure if it was a good idea but thanks for replying. I have a buddy that’s a personal trainer in the gym I’m going to that trains with me from time to time but our schedules don’t really match out like we wanted to. He’s subscribed to the site too so that’s a plus and we’re usually on the same page.
I live in San Luis Obispo,Ca ,currently on a PPL split and been training for 5 yrs. Exercise selection for me is dependent on safety, enjoyment and effectiveness.
Thanks for the replyDecember 8, 2019 at 9:28 pm #15465Anonymous

I will keep my eyes open for the “committed .” It was being too picky and expectations were high. Thanks for the replyDecember 15, 2019 at 12:23 pm #15706Anonymous
InactiveThis post made me think of a possible future site enhancement. What if there was a US map, and as users of the site, if we were looking to meet up with a training partner, we could enter our zip code, and others that did the same would show up on the map near us? It might be a cool tool to use, if we just need to work with someone for a workout or two, to get some additional motivation, key leanings, etc. It would also increase stickiness of the group. Joe…something for you guys to think about down the road. Thanks for all that you provide!

You’ve read my mind. Or if you travel out of town and you want to get a session in. +1 to this

Totally agree! My gears were turning when I answered this in video…a “find a training partner” app
