    Hi,

First off, this app is incredible, so thank you. The exercise library alone is a goldmine, to say nothing of the rest of the awesome content. It’s given my training a real boost already!

I have a well-stocked home gym, but I don’t have an adjustable pulley system yet. I have a pulldown/low-row, but I’d like to add something adjustable, particularly for delt and chest work. I’ve seen you recommend the Valor BD-62 (https://valorfitness.com/products/valor-fitness-bd-62-wall-mount-cable-station) on these forums, so I’m looking into buying one.

My question is whether and how you need to modify cable exercises (particularly for delts and chest) with this machine given that the pulleys are so close together. For example, are you able to do things like roller flys with it as is? I can see how exercises where you cross the cables would probably work, but I’m curious if you’ve had to do any hacks/workarounds for other movements where you’d typically use a functional trainer/crossover with two separate stacks spaced farther apart.

Any insight would be great! Thanks so much.

Thanks, Bryce! That all makes sense and helps confirm what I was already thinking. I’ll probably stick with dumbbells and bands for these kinds of movements for a bit and see how it goes before taking the plunge with a cable machine.
