I am new to the app and started running one of the programs. I lift at home and have a very healthy amount of equipment. That being said I have noticed that when I try to switch from some exercises that use machines it will replace with another machine. I think that post covid it maybe good to go through the programs and add a choice of an exercise that could be done in a home gym.
I think it is trying to give you the best bang for the buck / simile exercise to the one prescribed. I just add a note in there so I know what I did, e.g. switch from reverse banded incline bench press or incline smith bench to incline dumbbell etc
