Yes, I could pay for a commercial gym but not feasible due to time (work) and cost and family. Is what it is.

So I just bought a condo. There’s a gym in the basement that’s pretty good as it has some basic machines like leg press, leg curl, leg extensions, chest press, shoulder press, and lat pulldown.

Unfortunately it’s missing a row machine and all purpose cable machine for cable flys, y raises, cable curl, tricep pressdown, etc. So basically 5 of my go to exercises for growth and fun that my old condo had.

Any suggestions? Just do dumbells is one option but will miss the resistance profile, try to use bands in conjunction with the dumbells, etc. Any help brainstorming ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Until I got my functional trainer in my basement, I used 2 sets of resistance bands so I would have 2 of each band. You can either use anchors from one of the band companies or daisy chains to attach to something. I did it for Y raises, lying laterals, rear delts, cross cable tricep etc.
