When you have clients that seem to have muscle inhibition, and constantly “tight” muscles, how do you solve those issues without actually getting them on a table and doing MAT? Does end range activation work well enough?
Hm, you don’t think muscles can be inhibited unless their injured? If they have tightness it’s because they have inhibited muscles.. thats what MAT is founded on. Tightness is secondary to weakness/lack of efficient contractile capabilities or poor communication to the muscle and the CNS. Thanks for the feedback about doing end range isometrics, that’s what I was figuring.
That was really well said. I definitely agree with MAT can be a great tool but their had to be training involved after the fact to strengthen those muscles in the that range of motion (otherwise otherwise will end up having those limatations show up again). Thanks for clarifying coach 👍
