Hey guys, I hope this question makes sense. I know that no matter how diligent you are with your bulks and cuts that some fat will be gained on bulks and muscle will be lost during cuts. But this depends on how clean the phases are. In your opinions, assuming someone is very diligent with a bulk, what is the max percentage of mass that can be muscle gained do you think? Like 80% of the weight? And same for bulk, what percentage of the weight lost could be fat in the best case scenario. Thanks!
I think the more slower the transition happens, the bulk/cut the better it will be. If you do an aggressive bulk lets say you gain 2+ pounds every week for 8 weeks straight, then the chances are the majority of the mass is fat. But while cutting I think if you keep you protein high enough you won’t lose much muscle mass, even when you are in a pretty aggressive deficit.
