Because of my schedule I workout first thing in the morning. Typically I just slam a protein shake, chug water and eat a banana, and will drink a Gatorade during my session.
Any advice on how to maximize workouts when lifting first thing? Would EAA or intra carb make a big difference?
Looking back through the forums…I saw that Bryce recommended not to eat anything prior to training (5am example) but to utilize EAA’s and an intra carb instead.
Any good recommendations on EAA’s an intra? I know Redcon is one but curious if people have favorites
Great detailed response, thank you Bryce. When slamming a protein shake 30 min before workout plus banana and liquids I always feel full and sluggish so this should definitely help.
