Finally was able to get in and have my MRI, haven’t had the follow up with my primary yet but wanted to get your thoughts on the results. And as always not seeking medical advice just your two cents.
So far I’ve been making great progress in my recovery. I feel I’m about 70% in my bicep and everyday it’s getting better and better. My presses and and curls are getting stronger. This morning I grabbed the 80s and pushed out a quality 12 low incline DB presses and I haven’t done that in months, felt great. All my working sets have improved dramatically in the last month.
I’ve been doing RDLs and DLs again but keeping it to 225 for now and focusing on quality reps and not stressing that joint to its max just yet. I don’t feel comfortable past 225 but I’m good with that. Quality over quantity💪
I’ve been doing really good on cable movements, even though my left definitely feels stronger I’m keeping the reps and weight the same for both arms to allow the right to catch back up. Even if it takes a year to get back to 100%. I’m what 5 months out so far so it’s not the end of the world.
Aside from my nutrition, is there anything I really should be looking into supplement wise? My rest is on point, nutrition is great and I’m OCD consistent with everything I do. Not looking to speed up the healing process but if there’s something I’m missing that I could be supplementing to help the process, with I’m open to suggestions.
With that being said if you can make any sense of my MRI results which to me seems pretty positive. I’d like your input.
