Hi Joe,
I recently saw your “Recovery modalities 101” video and you briefly touched on foam rolling. I would like to know your thoughts on Massage Guns. I read elsewhere that you think they don’t change tissue and thus don’t produce long term results, but would it make sense, in a client that has “tight traps/neck area” to do some light massage gun work pre-workout (to reduce a bit of the “tight feeling”) and then move on to the “contraction based stuff” (mindful and appropiate weight training)? Or do you feel there are better uses for the session time in someone like this? Overall, what are the uses and applications you see for massage guns, if at all?
Thanks.
