Ive been struggling putting on size and strength in my calves since I began training.
Strangely though, I always feel a low-level DOMS type sensation in my calves – regardless of training frequency (I’ve tried a week off training them) or intensity, so recovery may not be the issue.
My ankles are admittedly tight, especially
dorsiflexion. Any ideas/thoughts?
