    Hey! I just wanted to get some thoughts on programming. I know that you (Joe) do essentially meat & potatoes exercises along with metabolic based training during your sessions, but do you think there’s any differences / benefits of completing ‘x’ weeks of different phases of training.

    E.g. – doing neurological based training for x amount of weeks, then “hypertrophy” based training, or metabolic. Just curious of thoughts on one style vs another.

    Make sure to watch my videos on recovery phases. And I’m going to do some more content on this soon. But basically the only phases needed IMO are 90% of the year “hypertrophy protocols” and 10% neuro, for a recovery phase. I think “metabolic” work is likely just more Hypertrophy driven by force, through fatigue and slow rep speed (minus load as a driver). So spending time in just a “metabolic phase” tends to cause people to lose a lot of muscles
