I’ve been back in the gym a week. I don’t have all the equipment I’ve seen you demonstrate, but I do have reasonable compensations.
My goal is size, naturally for now, and of course hypertrophy. I’ve pieced together some of your video work outs that fit with the equipment my gym has.
I’ll use Push Day. The work out starts with 5-10 reps first working set Db flat bench and 8-12 for the second working set. Why do a back off set and not stay with the 5-10? I am asking for my own education not questioning your methods.
Likewise, with this wide range 5-10. Are you saying start with a weight that I can do 5 reps with. Rest/pause and do 5 more? Or drop set and do 5 more?
Would I want to end each exercise with a metabolic set? After second working set. Rest for 30-60 seconds, pick a lighter weight, and press 15-20 for a pump? Or should I super with a more targeting exercise like a fly to get that pump? Or does it matter?
