    Hey Joe,
How do you suggest getting out of the 2 week recovery mini cut in terms of macros? If I am planning to cut about 1000 cal for those 2 weeks to recover, do you jump back to the previous calories right away or increase at a slower pace, say 500 cal/week?

IMO a more aggressive or slightly tapering approach is both okay.

Consider first how well you “recovered,” in your two weeks. Energy, sleep, training recovery, joints and pain, ect.

If you feel great, your body could very well be responsive to more calories provided your training bumps back into a groove at the same time.

Assuming you know your maintenance calories I would get back to that number/range and from there adjust weekly.

Just a matter of personal preference. Most times I go right back to where I left off. Sometimes if I want to tighten up a bit still, I just add 250cal a week as I taper the volume back up
