ParticipantI finished half body 2.0 and enjoyed the split. I was thinking of powerbuilding but just did deadlifts (have to do sumo due to arthritis) today and they are just not for me and my back overall. I was looking at PPL 2.0 but can only get to the gym 4-5x a week most likely. Is it still a good program and push the 6th into the second week and extend it?

ParticipantI’m on the last phase of PPL2.0 and go at a 6day split but you can definitely make it stretch out since you’d be 5 days max. I think both Bryce and Joe have stated that you can do any program with any split you can make work for your schedule. It’s a great program!

ParticipantSo, I’ll be finishing the OG PPL program in a few weeks and plan to start PPL 2.0 next. I can only train 3-4x/week. I’m planning to just stretch the weeks out. The program will become much longer so I’ll probably add a deload (or two) somewhere in there. Does this sound reasonable to ya’ll?

ParticipantHey Joe I’m currently doing the push pull lower 2.0 and am wondering why the notes don’t carry over like the the weight does when I log it. I make notes when I have to substitute a machine and then the following week I can’t look back to see what I did bc the notes don’t carry over? Thanks

ParticipantBryce this is what I wanted as well, I am currently doing the PPL 2.0 myself and it is a 6 day split. I asked recently for a 5 day split but the reply was don’t work off the 7 day calendar. I don’t want a 6 day split tbh on my off days I do 30 mins cardio for active recovery and health and 1 day rest every 3 days is not enough. How can I make the Ppl 2.0 into a 5 day split?

I think because the program is written in 4 week blocks it starts over again. Same thing happened to me with half body 2.0

Yeah it’s hard to make it into a 5 day program. What John Meadows used to do with his PPL programs is 3 days regular training and then 3 days of pump days and even though programmed for 6 days always recommended 5 days depending on your goals. So would leave out one day. His programs are really intense

ParticipantBryce can you clarify how it split it up into a 4/5 day split?
