For the pump work (Bulgarian split squats), I want to do the drop set exclusively on one leg, then rest, before working the second leg. Joe’s video shows working through both legs, before dropping. Pros/Cons of either? Personally, I feel I’m more likely to reach muscular failure when working each leg separately.
Lastly, for the lunges, I doing 20 steps for each leg and it’s pretty brutal. Is the intent here supposed to be “20 steps” total, or per leg? I’d much rather increase the weight and lower the reps. Yes, I realize this is totally trivial. I’m just looking for a justification to do less lunges! 😂
