Hi guys, just wondered if you can give me a bit of help on choosing a program that suits my schedule if you can? I did the Terrance program for 11weeks before I took them a recovery break following the recovery program and since then I’ve been undecided with which program to do.
I did however like the 5 day split of the Terrance program and was more upper focussed work. (But felt like I was wasting a day just doing an arm day on one of the days of which I later did add some shoulder work into it)
Long story short, I’m looking for a decent 5 day split, like so the Terrance program or would you just suggest to start that program again?
I did start the PPL 2.0 and currently a couple of week in but I don’t like the fact it’s a 6 day split if that makes sense.
And I don’t choose the programs like upper or lower etc because I don’t want to be in the gym longer than I need to due to working 10-12hrs a day. (My kids will wonder where dad is everyday of the week)

So yeah any suggestion I would appreciate it 💪🏽

Just a thought- I am currently doing the upper lower 2.0 and like it a lot as it is a 4 day a week program. If you cut down on the rest time and superset some of the exercises you could get it done in 60-75 minutes. The 5th day could be arms or cardio.
Bro splits are normally 5 days a week. You could also do a PPL and turn it into an 8 day program

This is exactly what I’m doing. I added a fifth day for arms. Most of the programs here are 4 days you just have to figure out what to prioritize and your rest days.

Hi Bryce, thank you for your reply. Looking at my own body composition and goals I do want to build my upper body more so, I am happy with one day leg day which I enjoyed with the Terrance program, I think I was fixing myself into the 7 day calendar like you said and putting that pressure on me trying to get all the 6 workouts in that week with the PPL2.0 split. Like I said I don’t want to train over 5 days a week max, with 4 being the least (rest days I just make sure steps are in and do a bit of active recovery)
Supersets are hard to do in our gym because of the times I go and how busy the gym is, I go to a commercial gym so it’s pretty crap when waiting for pieces of equipment.
Just wanted to get the best out of the program I follow for my own goals without wasting a full day of training on (arm day) for example because arms can be added at the end of each push or pull day.
For instance you have the delt program and the chest program, both of which I want to work on, so when it comes to program decisions and committing weeks on end on a program you want it to be the right program if that makes sense around your lifestyle.
