Hey guys, I’ve been trying to hit 100lbs dumbbells for a very long time. I’m stuck at 90lbs for 4. It has been months. I’m in a surplus, gaining weight very slowly each month, my boxes are all checked as far as lifestyle goes(stress, sleep etc..). My top set is 85lbs for 7 clean reps. In days that I feel strong I try to go for 90×5 but I just can’t get passed those 4 reps. Do you guys have any tips, advise..?
Should I just stick with the 90s until I reach 5 and then work my way up to 7 and repeat or should I just try to increase the reps with 85 up to 8,9 reps, then go for the 90s?
