Hey! This question is an extension of my previous one. What would do programming wise for a hard gainer who can only train 3 x a week?

My initial thinking is Push pull legs. But just wanted your take.

    Thanks!

Well there are a number of ways to program 3 day a week split and I think eventually it comes down to personal preference and what are your overall goals. You could basically run Full body, upper lower, P/P/L, Push/Pull or some variations of the those three which I would probably be the best option. And in that case you’d probably better off consulting Joe and purchasing a fully customized plan tailored to YOUR NEEDS.

And sorry for intervening yet again….✌

Anything from push, pull, lower to total body. From there, you just need to do what coaches are best at, see what works best. So go with what the client enjoys/adheres to best first. And secondly, see which they back the best progress on. Any option is a good place to start, then adjust from there.

Apologies! I thought I was more specific but I didn’t write the question correctly….

I meant to say 3 days in a row.. like Monday Tuesday Wednesday.

The days are back to back that’s why I was asking

I’m that case, I’d go push, pull, lower
