I have reached plateau at pullups, weight 83kg 20 kg added 6 clean reps. My best is 10 with not as clean form. I have tried mixing in rep ranges, cleaning my form by going down in weigth and building back up with better form which worked well but as soon as I got back to 20kg I cant seem to progress anymore. I also tried adding couple extra set but that didnt help either.
Should I add another rest day? What would be the best way to burst through this plateau? It has been atleast a month that I havent gotten any better at pullups, everything else seems to progress fine.
I will keep at it then🤙 I just wonder if there is some other programming variables that could make progress faster. Mixing frequency/volume/intensity. One thing I might try is doing more rir in first 2 sets and try to progress on the 3rd set. Then when I can do same reps with all the sets I upp the weight or reps. Would something like this benefit me?
