Hey coach – concerning PW(post workout) carb intake, I am fully subscribed to the notion that macro timing is irrelevant unless you’re training to compete, but is there any timing window when PW carb intake is no longer beneficial for a normal athlete? I tend to consume 75-80grams of carbs around 45-60min after my workout with 50G of protein. I lift in the AM, come home, shower, get the kids ready for school and then eat in the car line for drop off. I’m curious if I’m missing the window for glycogen replenishment. Thanks!
Perfect; thank you! Most days I don’t feel like eating right after my workout anyways, that would make sense with the CNS on high alert. Hour seems to be the sweet spot for me as that’s when the hunger pings start
