I’m about to start the push/pull/lower split next week after deloading. But i’ve got a question regarding the reps per set. Using an example from week 3 in the program where it says to do DB flat bench with 0RIR in a rep range of 5-12, but in the section for sets it says set 1 5-8reps and 8-12 reps for set 2. So my question is if it’s intented to pick such a weight that i go to failure between 5-8 reps for the first set and then drop the weight just a little for the second set to go to failure between 8-12? Or should i just stay somewhere between 5-12 for both?
