MemberHey Joe
I have some questions about warm up sets and rest between exercises
Firstly between exercises,if you were to give a guideline how much do you typically rest?
I know that also depends on the exercise but i would to see our general view/approach on this topic
Secondly,warm up sets
I can’t seem to understand their programming
i mean for ex let’s say i finish with a flat press and i go into an incline press.I know that i am warmed up by the time i hit the incline but i seem to get confused.Do i do let’s say i “feeler” set with 50% of my working weight for about 5-10 reps or i do more on none?
And by the time i hit the next exercise do i do any warm up sets or none?
Know let’s say i head into db military press
Do I follow the general 3-5 warm up sets for the first exercise of a muscle group,or i do less because of the press work before
I think you get what i mean regarding warm up sets
To sum up i seem to get confused with warm up sets for the first exercise of a muscle group, the warm up sets at the second/third exercise for that muscle and at the warm up sets for the upfollowing muscles of a workout(ex back, rear delt, bicep)
Would really appreaciate if you could clear my view on the topic

MemberAnd let’s say for ex a start with an isolation followed by a compound,do i use the isolation sets as a warm up,i do warm ups and working sets?
And when i get to the compound do i perform the general 3-5 warm up sets?July 11, 2020 at 4:48 pm #21485Joe
