ParticipantRamadan isn’t till a couple of months but want to know exactly what to do beforehand. Basically i’ll be fasting (not being able to eat or drink anything) from around 4am-8pm for about a month. I know it sucks for gains! But just wanted to know what your opinion was to do as I try to train after 8pm after breaking the fast and always lose so much strength. What would you advise in terms of training? Would it be useful to cut or try to eat the calories outside of the fasting period and try to maintain/bulk? Never tried to bulk as it’s hard to get that many calories in when you’re not eating or drinking for 16hrs and for the 8hrs you need to sleep as well lol. That being said I do wake up just before 4am to eat something for some energy throughout the day.
Not sure what is the best way going forward as I usually end up undoing a lot of work and it can be quite stressful because of this. WOuld be great to have your opinion on when to train, should i switch my goal for that month and how should i change nutrition?
As usual thanks so much for everything!

ParticipantHey Joe thanks so much for your response. You’re actually the very few people who actually pronounced my name correctly! Okay great that explains where I’ve been going wrong completely. As always thanks so much for your help and time 👌👍
