Just completed 13 weeks of Armageddon. My weights and reps on many exercises are starting to top out. In some cases I am able to add micro weights (1-1/4 lb) to still hit reps or do some partials. But shoulders and elbow joints seem tight and strained some days more than others. So this week I am doing no lifting except for calves and abs as well as some steady state cardio to keep moving. My questions: (1) I realize the type of recovery and duration varies by individual. But does my approach seem reasonable? (2) Assuming my joints feel good on Monday, I will start back on a weight program. Is there another program you would recommend? Arms are my weak point. As usual, appreciate your expert guidance.
