Dear Coaches,
I am currently following the new Terrence Joe program and I have a question:
In Push/Pull day, rep ranges is set to 1st set:6-8 then 2nd set 8-12. And this happens throughout the program.
Do I have to drop the weight for the second set assuming the first one is heavy loaded to fall under the 6-8 rep range ? Is my assumption correct ?

First set: muscle failure with a maximum of 8 reps
Second set: muscle failure with a maximum of 12 reps
If you make 8-12 reps with the weight from the first set, the weight is too light
