    Hi Joe/Bryce,

    Paul Carter recently made a post about resting 3 mins in between for unilateral exs for maximal muscle motor unit recruitment. I’m really curious to hear your perspective about this?

    Not sure if I’ve been doing the programs wrong as I’ve been doing left/right then resting. Not trying to start any shit, just genuinely curious!

    I think the paper he’s referring to is by schonfild et al (2016). The study had too many limitations though , most of movements were replaced by alternative machine and the study period was only 8 weeks . I usually take 30 secs at best between sides especially biceps, triceps , as long as you feel recovered i don’t think you should be worried. Besides the measurement of the muscle were also a limitation as they pointed out since they measured only mid portion i think.
