I am looking for a bit of advice in regards to setting up a new routine at the gym.
I have worked out since I was 15 and am now 25, I haven’t worked out in about a year due to Covid restrictions on gyms where I live. I am 6’1 and around 190-200lbs at about 20% bf (weight and bf are estimated from previous experience)
I used the old version of the app for workouts rather than making my own and was wondering if it would be advantageous to use the full body newbie routine to make those muscle memory gains or if I should just go back into my push/pull or upper lower splits.
With experience of knowing my body, mind muscle connection and how to properly perform movements – is going full body worth it? Should I focus on power building as if I didn’t take a break (obviously 1rep max will be lower and I don’t ego lift)
Any thoughts are appreciated and any more info needed I can provide!
