What are your thoughts on a reverse hack squat? So basically facing the pad and having the movement more hip dominant alike a machine squat.
Especially curious as obviously you could band it up as well.
If it’s on a true hack squat, not worth it at all IMO. The inconvenience of set up, head/neck position aren’t worth the potential benefits. If it’s more of a v-squat or “power squat” machine, where it’s actually designed to be used facing both ways, then I think it can be a great option
