I for the life of me can’t keep RIR. I can’t approach a set and cut it short knowing I have more reps in me. I like the idea of the programs periodization starting out the first phase with some reps in the tank however I just seem to always want to take sets all the way. Any advice or other ways to approach these phases other then RIR? Is it important to have times with RIR or is it just a matter of managing fatigue and recovery if always training to failure ?
