Hey guys this is mostly an injury advice question if any coach is willing to help as this is my first time ever being injured in the few years that I have been training. I went to a chiropractor to diagnose the pain, and they stated that it’s a small tear in my left arm rotator cuff near my teres minor. The Injury happened at work and not training related. The chiropractor showed me a few rotator cuff stretches with bands, and a couple of stretches for my chest, neck, and biceps to release tension. Also showed me a rotator cuff release technique with a lacrosse ball. I took a week off training as I didn’t want to worsen the injury.
Should I schedule an appointment to see a Orthopedic surgeon DR?
Should I follow the chiropractors directions and see how I feel?
Awesome advice again Bryce. Bryce advised me on carrying forward with my training post labrum tear and shoulder dislocation. Absolutely get the Dr opinion and great advice from Bryce on training. I trained for 2 months before surgery and am still training in with therapy. Lots of legs and adducted arm training for upper body, keep tinkering and you figure out quick what you can and can’t do.
