I have two different questions about my current program.
1. Unfortunately my gym doesn’t own a chest supported t bar row machine. The exercise swap is a chest supported DB row, which is great. But later in the workout there is a bent over DB row for the upper back. So the same exercise except for the chest pad. Does that selection make still sense? Or would you pick another rowing movement?
2. In week 5 there is this intensifier in the leg workout that I don’t really understand. After the second straight set of calve raises you should perform 50 reps with bodyweight. Faster pace is ok and partials count… Why there is this fixed number of reps? Why not „with bodyweight to failure“ with perfect form? I didn’t see this style of set in any other training session. That’s why I was wondering…
