Hi should i retract my scapula for the bench press & db chest press? The reason being is that I had a sore shoulder and couldn’t overhead press for about a year. I had been doing alot of rotator cuff work and foam rolling to fix the problem but nothing worked. I was then told to stop locking my scapula during chest pressing and I have found that the pain has greatly reduced and I am back overhead pressing.
