It’s done it again, shows 3 working sets but tells me to do two. Week 9 of the half body.

Yeah I know that mate but with this last cycle it’s asking me to do 2 working sets yet looking at the log book its 3? Plus I’ve found it’s swapped a few exercises from the previous cycle as well so asking me to do now 2 working sets on a movement I’ve not had time with if that makes sense.

You need to delete the last set. It doesn’t do it on itself (probably that you don’t lose your weight and reps of this set) but if you reduce it to 2 sets it works perfectly fine again! Bless you man!

Yeah that’s what I did mate, just wondered why the volume had dropped and some exercises had changed especially in the last phase

I added activations to my program and it messed up all of my rep and set schemes the next week, so if you assed activations that could be it.

It’s generally because in the end phase of a program you are (or at least should be) able to reach muscle muscle failure prior to form failure, because you have (or should) really have brought form on point so that form failure doesn’t occur. So technically you can get the same effective reps out of 2 sets, whereas you may have needed 3 sets to reach the same amount because you weren’t able to be as efficient before (in most cases your form isn’t as good in early stages). That’s the reason for the volume drop in the program. Cheers man!
