All programs are 2-3 sets (past the first phase) and yes, its cause of the intensity. Recovery simply isn’t feasible with that maximum intensity if you also did 4-5 sets per exercise, plus its highly unlikely you’d even be able to train that hard for all those sets for an entire workout.
Do you know any specific Meta analysis papers or any papers that explain intramuscular Force on a deeper level? Just so I can learn more about that specifically.
Also, would you recommend everyone train in this matter. I know you mentioned it’s beneficial for intermediate to advance lifters. What about beginners ?
