Hello everyone, I’ve recently gotten back into the gym about two months ago. Attempting to bring legs back up because they atrophied terribly in my time away. Everytime I attempt to squat my hamstrings cramp up terribly to the point that I can’t continue the workout even after a set of just the bar squats. My diet and hydration is good currently, so could the cramping be due to my body compensating for the weak muscles? I’m able to do other leg work like extentions, curl, press etc. If so any recommendations? Continue the other exercises and squat as much as possible at the end?
