I’m a 23 year old student and have been running the cannonball program (4 days on 1 day off) for the past 3 months while in a slight surplus to bring my delts up and I’ve had awesome results in strength and size – recovery hasn’t been an issue for me.
Just wanted to ask – when I eventually start cutting down into a deficit would it be best to revert back to a PPL program so that I hit all muscle groups evenly to minimise losing more muscle in one area? Or would it be ok to choose a program aimed at bringing up another weak area (such as legs for example) whilst in a deficit?
