I have been adding some sets of single leg leg leg press as I feel more comfortable getting to failure when I know I have the other leg to get me out of trouble and not have to yell for help.
I have 2 questions on this
1) aside from obvious time inefficiency, all things being equal in terms of mechanical tension on each side being same, is there a disadvantage vs 2 legs?
2) should leg position of the active leg change relative to where it would be if using two legs, generally I find it very awkward to keep it in same position, and bringing narrower seems better.
