Hi Joe, I’m actually currently following your homepertrophy program due to the gym being locked down in my city and I started doing 3 sets per exercise and train 3x a week (PPL).
However I found that too taxing on my recovery/ nervous system as I have a high-stress and long working-hour daytime job. Am wondering if I do set of one with close proximity to failure, progressive overload and higher frequency 6x per week (PPLPPLR) – is there any downside? Since in this way I could use less time per day & the stress is more equally distributed throughout the week, thanks!!
Thanks Joe, that’s an amazing program for people like me who lives in the city with the highest rent in the world (Hong Kong) and essentially no one could afford the space for a home gym, plus the gym had been locked down since forever. Really appreciate the effort you put into the program and how thoughtfully it is created. Seen great result with the program.
