What are your thoughts on planning some extra volume for given muscles on other Trainingdays? For example someone want to bring up his chest. Chest get hit on pushday and in some case on arm day with heavy pressing ( dip / close grip press ). Would it be a smart move to incorporate on that armday maybe a roller fly before or after the dips/ closegrip presses ? So you hit chest with some extra volume that doesn’t effect your regeneration or output.
