When doing the high incline Smith machine press..my gym has the loser life fitness smith with the weird angle….. id like to do them with a dead stop for a split second and standardize that form..however when determining ROM for I find comfortable..the safeties have a larger gap between each setting, so the difference is that it bottoms out before I’m done my active range and the next peg down puts my well out of that range…..should I remove the safety all together and just press normally, or set the safety where my active range is not fully done and maybe program program a neutral grip machine press on another push day that gets me in that arm path?
